“We need thousands of more couples serving in the missions of the Church. Every mission president pleads for them. They…can leave the grandchildren. Those little darlings will be just fine, and I promise you will do things for them in the service of the Lord that, worlds without end, you could never do if you stayed home to hover over them. What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well as word, “In this family we serve missions!”

P-DAY IN PEJA, KOSOVO

PEJA WAS THE CENTER OF THE SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH IN 1346. IT WAS THE MAJOR RELIGIOUS CENTER OF MEDIEVAL SERBIA.

THE PATRIARCHAL MONASTERY STILL STANDS. (BECAUSE OF THE UNREST AND WARS IT IS NOW PROTECTED BY THE ITALIAN KFOR.)

BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED

BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS WITH LIBRARY CHURCHES AND CEMETERY (MOST OF THE BLDGS. WERE NOT OPEN)

(No..they didn't knock over the headstone..but they do have a lot of energy)

THIS CANYON IS 20 MILES FROM THE BORDERS OF MONTENEGRO, ALBANIA,& SERBIA
