“We need thousands of more couples serving in the missions of the Church. Every mission president pleads for them. They…can leave the grandchildren. Those little darlings will be just fine, and I promise you will do things for them in the service of the Lord that, worlds without end, you could never do if you stayed home to hover over them. What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well as word, “In this family we serve missions!”

HELPING

AT FATMIR'S FAMILY FARM


OF COURSE, SAM COULD NOT BE HAPPIER !!!!


THEY COOKED US A REAL FEAST !!NOTICE THE STOVE IT IS AWOOD BURNING STOVE THEY COOK ON AND WARM THEIR ONE ROOM IT IS ION IN THE WINTER...WE ARE ACTUALLY SITTING  IN THE SPOT WHERE THEY DRIVE THE TRACTOR IN.

THE SPECIALTY DISH IS THE FLIA..

(IT IS ALL CUT UP AND HEAPED ON A PLATE)    EVERYONE LOVES IT..IT IS FLOUR AND WATER MIXED AND BAKED IN A HUGE PAN OVER A FIRE WITH A HOT LID.  IT IS MANY LAYERS WITH OIL IN BETWEEN THE LAYERS...EVERYONE LOVES IT... 

THE GREEN DOORS ARE THE ENTRANCE TO THEIR EXTENDED FAMILY COMPOUND. THEY HAVE ONLY 3 ROOMS..NO KITCHEN.
