Today we got together and made wishes just for you.
We sprinkled them with pixie dust, and off to Kosovo they flew!
******
We wished for you a big bouquet of colorful balloons tied to strings. Enough balloons to give one to each of your grandchildren....we know that's what you would do with them anyways!!
We wished for you your whole yard full of yellow daffodils. So many daffodils that you wouldn't even notice any were missing when your grandchildren picked you a big bunch of them!
We wished for you that your kids (our parents) would go to the temple more often, because we know you love the temple and want us all to go there.
We wished for you freezers full of Creamies and Fat Boy seconds because we know how much you love them. Well....mostly we know how much WE love them and YOU love to give them to us!!
We wished for you platters of farm waffles....some blueberry and some regular. And since you'd probably be the one making them anyways, we wished for you to have lots of little helpers in PJ's, standing on chairs.
We wished for you a flag that stands for freedom, because you have always taught us to love our land and our flag, and you help us celebrate our nation.
But mostly...we just wished that, way over there in Kosovo, you can still feel how much your grandchildren love you!! We miss you! But you have given us so many happy memories to hold on to while you are gone. What an amazing grandma you are to all of us!! And we are so proud that you are serving a mission. We all pray for you every single day!!
Happy Birthday Grandma!!
Love, Logan, Carter, Regan, Morgan, Ellie
Ali, Jaida, and Eric
(And all the other grandchildren too!! We just happened to be together today.)
