“We need thousands of more couples serving in the missions of the Church. Every mission president pleads for them. They…can leave the grandchildren. Those little darlings will be just fine, and I promise you will do things for them in the service of the Lord that, worlds without end, you could never do if you stayed home to hover over them. What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well as word, “In this family we serve missions!”

ZONE CONFERENCE IN TIRANA

                                                                   ( August 23, 2012  )

          TRAVELING THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS ON AN INCREDIBLE HIGHWAY !!!!



THIS TUNNEL IS 6 KL LONG !!!




THE BORDER CROSSING  INTO ALBANIA WAS A LONG WAIT.


WHEN WE GOT TO THE BORDER..THEY WAVED US THROUGH AND WE DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO CHECK PASSPORTS...MAYBE IT WAS OUR ALBANIAN LICENSE PLATES



THE ELDERS WERE SO EXCITED  WHEN WE DROVE INTO TIRANA.

THEY HAD ALL SERVED THERE AND WERE SO HAPPY TO BE RETURNING AND REMINISCING


THIS IS TIRANA. SEVERAL MILLION PEOPLE.

OUR MISSION PRESIDENT'S GOAL IS TO HAVE A STAKE IN  ALBANIA  IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS !!!!
