“We need thousands of more couples serving in the missions of the Church. Every mission president pleads for them. They…can leave the grandchildren. Those little darlings will be just fine, and I promise you will do things for them in the service of the Lord that, worlds without end, you could never do if you stayed home to hover over them. What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well as word, “In this family we serve missions!”

The Church facility.

The front of our apartment building, the glass windows are the new addition to our church..it will be remodeled soon , waiting details  from Germany(our area of authority; reporting, recording permission etc.)
This is around the corner, the front entrance of our Church.
Kitchen facilities, nice chairs, and essential fans.

Saturday night the elders set up the room as the chapel. Then Sunday night they set the ping-pong table up for FHE on Tuesday night and institute on Thurdsay night.   We also have English language classes on Tues. & Thursdays at 5 p m. ( We sit in to learn Albanian!!)







 

Manuels, pass-a-long cards, pamphlets plenty of  copies of the Book of Mormon in several languages.  Mostly all in Albanian.
 We have Sacrament meeting  at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday,  a 10 minute break and then sunday school.  One of the Elders plays the keyboard and another one leads as we all sing in Albanian.   We put the chairs in a circle and each read from gospel essentials. Everything is usually done in Albanian,the Elders translate as needed.
