“We need thousands of more couples serving in the missions of the Church. Every mission president pleads for them. They…can leave the grandchildren. Those little darlings will be just fine, and I promise you will do things for them in the service of the Lord that, worlds without end, you could never do if you stayed home to hover over them. What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well as word, “In this family we serve missions!”

Home Sweet Home!!!

Apartment in Pristina, Kosovo.
This is our street....
The construction is right accross the road/alley next to the market..they are building another high rise apart. complex.  They start early and end late 7 days a week!!!
We are not sure of the address.....no street signs, no signs on buildings..nothing written anywhere. We get and give directions by identifying the buildings next to us. At the main street part of our road is the Hotel Sirius.
After 3 hours of walking to find our way back we find someone who calls someone who speaks english and we tell them Hotel Sirius...then we are pointed in the right direction ! !
The cobblestone roads are so narrow and winding. It's hard to get a perspective when you are in the midst of it !!

And here we have the view from the balcony where we dry cloths.

The inside of the apartment is actually really nice and quite modern. Such a contrast from right outside the door. The kitchen, with the door to the balcony at the far end.

The living room/dining room and a view of the front entrance.

The bedroom.

The bathroom. No bathtub. Notice the little washing machine. No dryer. Everyone hangs their clothes out to dry.

The office.

Home sweet home!
